The B side tones it down a bit but it’s still extremely emotive. A sort of forgettable track is saved by a middle eight with some interesting vocal effects that I’m quite into. Actually it’s not bad at all all things considered - it’s punchy, folky pop and at least they give the impression they may mean ‘it’, whatever ‘it’ could be. It’s as Scottish as scotch broth, bagpipes and salted porridge (the weirdos) so sits in nicely with The Twilight Sad and The Proclaimers.
