Here’s a very limited split 7” (only 100 made!) from two very different artists. On the first side we’ve got Xylitol, doing an ominous, melodic synth number. Reference points here would be John Carpenter, Pye Corner Audio, Kraftwerk and Delia Derbyshire’s Doctor Who theme. Really cool.

On the flip Libbe Matz Gang are going a bit crazier with some fucked up psychedelic loop-scree like Factory Floor’s sweaty nightmares. It’s pretty unsettling; Kim’s saying it reminds her of Bernard Herrmann’s score to the shower scene from Psycho. Scary!
