Kilo Kish is the latest hippety-hoppy pop hopeful to crawl out of the Big Apple and attempt universal appeal. On this debut single ‘Navy’ she’s dropping sultry raps over a hip-hop beat with slightly jazzy keyboard loops.

Vocally think somewhere between Azealia Banks and M.I.A. but with a lazier vibe. It ends with her saying “I guess that’s all/ I’ve got to say about that”, followed by a fade out. You can’t get much lazier than that. There’s a MeLo-X remix on the other side but I’m reviewing from a one-track promo CD so you’ll just have to guess what that one sounds like.
