Here is a wonderful little curio from Tim Burgess’s excellent O Genesis imprint. From listening to the first track I could have sworn that this was a reissue by some long forgotten ‘60s alchemists but no, it’s a new band from London formed only last year. It’s a minimalist piece of electronic music that sits somewhere between Kraftwerk, Silver Apples, DAF and The Normal. Simple, pulsy electronic textures with Germanic chanted deadpan voice and a nice line in ‘found’ voices as shown in the weird mantra of the locked run out groove.

The flip details acidy squiggles overlain with weird sci-fi style voice samples and what sounds like a drill. From what I can detect from this debut 7” they are doing something really different and esoteric. Comes in lovely sleeve, kind of like thick wallpaper. Impressive.
