Seemingly only in my review pile because Phil finds the woman on the back sleeve attractive. I can’t quite figure out who she is as the Alex Dingley band seems to consist of five people but there are only two photographed on the sleeve. Anyway, really does it all matter? Not particularly.

Alex Dingley who leads the band Alex Dingley is from Wales and produces a slightly shambolic take on your indie pop goodness complete with strummed acoustics and glockenspiel. I’m thinking somewhere between Gorky’s and The Wave Pictures if such a thing exists. The lead track is charming with a slight melody which is slowly worming its way into my head, on the flip is something which is a quite upbeat lollop through the vagaries of post Jonathan Richman acoustic pop, wandering this way and that, never making a real dent in my brain but pleasant nonetheless.
