I’m not familiar with this French psych troupe but apparently they’ve already had a well-received debut 7” and this is on the same label that put out that excellent Dalai Lama Rama Fa Fa Fa single that made SOTW some time last year. Anyway, what’s happening on this LP is some quite lively, melodic psychedelic pop with jangly guitars and bubbly basslines and plenty of Brian Jonestown vibes getting passed around.

It’s all quite clean-sounding and the musicianship is excellent, with some lovely twangy sitar touches and some excellent vocal harmonies. It’s hardly breaking new ground but when it comes to lovingly recreating the psych-pop sounds of the ‘60s these guys are doing a sterling job.
