These chaps apparently met at a gig and decided to work together out of mutual respect for each other’s music. Between them they get their mitts on a veritable arsenal of instruments. Moore plays drums, percussion, slit drum, trumpet, wind objects, tapes and voice. Meanwhile Muller went for guitars, bass, piano, synth, percussion and tone generator. Quite an impressive selection of tools and I’m pleased to report they’ve dome a fine job with them.

The sound they create is not an easy one to describe. It sort of lies somewhere between jazz, tiny elements of post-rock and wanders from the quiet and restrained to more all-out and rocking. Presumably it’s improvised and so it does veer off slightly into moments that don’t really hold my attention although there are enough engaging moments to make it worth checking out. Hand-numbered edition of 500 copies complete with download code.
