Here’s the debut single from the latest hopefuls to emerge from the unforgiving environs of ole London tahn, peddling a brand of warm, radio-friendly jangle pop as perfected by the likes of Real Estate and Big Troubles. A side ‘Blue Velvet’ is dripping with those warm nostalgic indiepop vibes.

On the flip ‘Bond Girls’ is a bit livelier, taking those sunbleached watery tones into more of a post-grunge arena with vocals alternating between nonchalant talky bits and weird falsetto warbles, handily keeping them within arm’s length of that jangly MOR pigeonhole I was about to dump them into. It might not blow you away but this is promising stuff from these youngsters and it’ll be interesting to hear what they do next.
