Wow, this single started off with a a huge riff that reminded me of Heavy Stereo. I can’t remember the last time I heard anything that reminded me of them. Anyway I don’t wanna kill Findlay’s debut single by mentioning Heavy Stereo anymore so I’ll drop that.

Findlay is from Manchester like many people are. She’s only 21 (like many people are) and she makes music (like many people do). Her debut single ‘Your Sister’ is a raucous energetic slab of indie rock with big blues-inspired guitar riffs (actually make that huge guitar riffs) and loud slightly distorted vocals. It chugs along sweetly, the drums drop in and out (as do the monster riffs) and the chorus is undeniably catchy. May appeal to fans of The Duke Spirit and The Kills?
