Adult. are back! It seems like ages but it’s only been four years! They’ve been busy making a horror film trilogy which I doubt will be showing at your local megamulticinemaplex but you might find ‘The Three Grace(s) Triptych’ at your local arthouse cinema. Enough about films already!

They’ve chosen to cover a couple of tunes for their return. The first one is ‘Shari Vari’ by A Number of Names who were an early ‘80s electro techno group from Detroit. They’ve gone back to their roots with this one which is an electro techno stomper. The vocals are spoken word and they’ve got a weird playful coldness about ‘em. The tune is kicking though and it’s ‘Adult-by-numbers’ with their trademark mix of European electro and Detroit techno.

The flip is ‘122 Hours Of Fear’ which was originally by The Screamers who were an LA punk band from ‘78. So unsurprisingly this is an electro tune with a punk edge. Nice dramatic, shouty vocals over a frenetic electro beat. It’s all lively and that.
