The only Nibbler record I actually own is her single of ‘Uptown Top ranking’, the only cover of a reggae song by a white person I’d consider ever playing in my house. I think she knows how many folk loved her version of the Althea & Donna classic so this time she’s made TLC’s legendary R’n’B smash into a Gothic Americana tear-jerker! Some lovely sad twangy slide guitar on this, possibly one of the best covers I’ve heard this year. Funniest thing is our ReviewBot didn’t realise it was somebody else's song until its conclusion prompting much head-shaking from head Norman whip Business Lady. [I was making a joke! Of course I knew what it was! Jeepers. -RB3k]

The version of ‘Nasty’ is bloody hilarious but actually quite brilliant too. A low slung malevolent bass-line hovers below a cracking funky drum break whilst Scoutlet raps her best Janet Jackson approximation. Not bad for a lass from Nottingham! This kicks ass. Seriously, this is gonna cause mayhem on the dancefloor of clubs, no-one is going to know what the fuck is going on. SOTW?
