Ooh, a new Twinsistermoon album! In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last while Natural Snow Buildings have been pouring out occasional releases since 1997 now (I didn’t realise they’d been going for that long either). Twinsistermoon is the solo project of Medhi (Solange who is the other half of NSB is Isengrind).

There has been a slow slurry of Twinsistermoon releases over the years and ‘Bogyrealm Vessels’ is the latest. It’s business as usual with Medhi creating his own blend of drone folk with his unique vocal stylings. It’s both dark and beautiful in equal measures as you’re taken into his world of olde worldee folk and drone soundscapes. I love Natural Snow Buildings’ music. It’s evocative and haunting whilst not really sounding like anyone else. It’s kind of magical pagan-esque soothing folk which just demands to be listed to!

It comes in sweet oversized DVD style packaging with artwork by Solange and it’s a perfect addition to your blossoming NSB collection!

10/10 Martin Customer review, 14th October 2014

So, Twinsistermoon is a superb band and Bogeyrealm Vessels is a superb album. The packaging makes it a really special release. It comes in a DVD sized package that opens up to reveal fantastic artwork outside and inside. Reminds me of the way Yes records were always enhanced by the art that came with the music. I have very few words to say about the music. I find it divine, incredibly beautiful and crafted to perfection despite all the lo-fi recording techniques. Truly it feels like it comes from another time, or no time at all. It is music, that after you hear it, it seems as if it's always existed in your subconscious mind. Can't recommend this release enough.
