Destiny’s Hoof are back with a new 7”, and it’s a snazzy limited picture disc ‘n’ all. On the A side there’s Dodecahedron, a slick slice of indie-folk sweetness with a bit of a Vashti Bunyan-esque feel to the vocals and some ambitious high notes. It’s alternates between being quite hushed and having these soaring warbly sections with twinkly Christmas xylophone which builds to a rousing accompaniment from her Frog Chorus towards the end.

Flip it and there’s a weird chopped up driftsteppy remix by a character who simply calls himself Mr Blazey. It’s inoffensive but chaotic and pretty disposable to my ears, full of stuttering clicks and chaotic synth shimmers and spliced vocal tics. It’s definitely the A side that’s of interest here.
