- Vaporware / Scanops by Bee Mask

Wow, this initially reminds me of Global Communication’s languid astral grace but even more lush and cinematic. Not what I was expecting, I imagined Bee Mask to be a little more difficult or abstract for some reason. The first few minutes of ‘Vaporware’ is the epitome of space-invader ambient music, a beautiful dynamic sound indeed. The remainder of this amazing side reaches deeply into the realm hypnotic bubbling synthesis with the keening sound of brittle rhythmic machines and cosmic debris firing at you from behind a meteor cluster in a far-off Galaxy. Utterly gorgeous and strangely powerful timeless music to treasure for life! Autre Ne Veut is the guest voice on this piece.
‘Scanops’ is another tasty movement of sublime aquatic progressive ambience featuring the treated vocal/choral trails of one Katherine Brady. This lush languid track sounds a little more along the lines of Motion Sickness of Time Travel, all infused with delightful electronic chirruping and subtle moody bass tones. There is so much to absorb throughout this amazing journey, it could well be responsible for much dissolving of frowns and relief of stress near various turntables around the globe. Honestly, this record is an incredibly beautiful and profound thing indeed and is possibly the finest piece of wax along these lines I’ve heard in months...
