9/10 Steven Michaels Customer review, 20th December 2013

Quiet Irish duo falling somewhere between 60s coffee shop folk and old time country by way of Mazzy Star. I thought they were from the US...in a good way. Don't seem to gig much in the UK which is a pity. Would like to hear an album from them as there's a distinctive sound there to be sure. Killer vocals-her more than him, but it works. There's a refreshing lack of twee here which has made folk a dirty word of late. Solemn, yet hopeful; quiet, yet assured. Understated arrangements only complement the songs ( two originals, two covers ) so yes-less is more.
