- The Sharp Lines That Delineate His Robes by Christian Cosmos

Following 12"s from Vatican Shadow and Bronze Age Dominick Fernow's Bed Of Nails label hit's its third release with an outstanding 4 track EP from the man himself. This time under his Christian Cosmos alias with 'The Sharp Lines That Delineate His Robes'.
First up is 'The Angular Positions Of His Father' which has heart wrenching synthetic strings swirling over tamed steely industrial machine rhythms. It's seriously dramatic stuff.
The Angular Positions Of His Father' has ace pounding drums with sinister atmospherics creating a huge sense of dread and tension but still beauty lies within the gloom. The drums really kick in and thump around mid-way and are then tamed briefly , letting the synths do their thing and then they kick back in and a monster black techno masterpiece emerges.
The Angular Positions Of His Crown' has some fucked distorted malfunctioning sounding kick drum underpinning heavenly strings. The beats actually are slightly reminiscent of Polygon Window in some respects. Anyway it's another winner of a tune, pretty darn epic actually.
Finally 'The Angular Positions Of His Cross' has a touch of an Eastern flavour and the press release quite rightly mentions Muslimgauze. It's a hypnotic loop with huge hallucinatory potential. When things really get going it's another stormer of a track that ticks all the right boxes for moi.
The EP flows really well with a very distinctive sound across all the tracks. Am loving this label at the moment. Keep 'em coming.
