You can debate the aesthetics and ethics of the Pistols all you want, but there’s no arguing that their only real album is, well, the bollocks. Where would we be without the results of people being inspired by it, being annoyed by it, or reacting against it? This is all the Pistols you need, really (the odd stray b-side notwithstanding).

Seriously, if you consider yourself a true punk rock fan, or a fan of quality rock music in general, then you really need to get this album, as it makes no sense for you not to own it. Forget about posers like Simple Plan, All Time Low or any of those other "Post-2010-Pop-Punk" bands that are marketed as "Punk." This is the REAL deal, and the fact that young musicians today are still inspired by the music on this album definitely proves its standing as a relevant moment of originality and innovation in music history.
