9/10 Brian Staff review, 23 August 2012
Cor, I really like this. A five track EP beginning with some very pretty piano playing all smothered in electrical feedback and fizzing, fluctuating tones, thunderous noise bursts or electro-acoustic ripping...it sees a really tasteful and dynamic marriage of two worlds coming together where modern classical meets scintillating progressive sound art and otherworldly cosmic spaces derived from signal-filtration systems. I've really not actually heard many neoclassical works constructed quite like this before, the fluctuating noises and android sounds truly compliment the piano playing when you'd think the graceful aura would be seriously compromised.
It's one of those rare collections of music that really strikes you with both its intimacy and daring, like the end result of a precocious but wonderfully talented young musical prodigy bringing a bored extra-terrestrial home from the woods to wreak potential havoc in the practice room but instead discovering a strange fluency and deep bonding...one of the most intriguing progressive classical works I've heard this year.
