The big new thing? Maybe. They have the amphetamine driven tunes, one part Syd Barrett, one part The White Stripes. It’s snotty garage punk that blasts along like a teenage Strokes. ‘No Ass’ particularly is a whole heap of punk psych fun with memorable singalong bit and lovingly lo-fi production.

The only disappointment is that they re-use the good bit on the next track ‘Black Out Stout’ and I sort of forgot the single was still on after a while. Its fun in a Hives kind of way but needs a few more killer tunes I reckon to get them outta the garage.
