Ooh, this is lovely. Will from the Cosmic Trip Machine had an enlightening Shambhala Meditation Experience and, blissed out on life, made this gorgeous album of smooth, floaty vibes so we can all share in his inner peace. It’s a mixture of slow, swirling melodic high to mid synth drones underpinned by chiming, twanging Eastern strings. The tunes come gradually and hypnotically and it’s just pure healing, spiritual ambient synth vibes like you might expect from High Wolf or Dolphins Into The Future.

There’s touches of Sun Araw’s post-dubby spacious feel here too but very little in the way of actual bass, much more of a cosmic trip than that. Towards the end there’s some guitar and more focused melodies along with the analogue tones for a real Canterbury folk-prog type feel. This CD is accompanying the first proper day of sunshine we’ve had in a while very nicely. As always with these Reverb Worship CDs this is in a criminally low quantity so if you want in, don’t hang about.
