This is like a DIY neo-classical/gothic folk “imaginary soundtrack” and is quite stirring in parts. I can imagine galloping across misty fields on a jet black horse slicing to pieces anything living that comes my way with a glistening sharp scythe and subsequently cackling like a maniac.

It’s great doomsday music but rather pompous and comical too, although I feel if I chuckle too hard this grimacing twelve inch plate may spin off the turntable and violently whoosh across the office and behead me and as I'm currently sat here on my own I’d rather not chance such an occurrence. The piano and string parts are my preference, not so keen on the “Wagnerian choirs” although the whole project definitely has a palpable air of grace, power and importance. Plus the sleeve is totally amazing. Only 100 of these babies so you better not sleep on it...
