Clinton always seems to end up with Owl Service CDs to review. I thought he liked folk music but obviously not. I’ll do a brief one for this one as it’s essentially just a rejigged version of the Garland of Song which we covered when it was released many moons ago.
What you get is the the tracks from Garland of Song re-recorded with new vocalists (like Nancy Wallace, Kate Denny etc), five bonus tracks, new artwork and a whole load of folk for your face! I think I prefer the original recordings as these sound a little crisper to me but the songs are good and it’s sufficiently different enough to warrant it being released and purchased by you folkies.
