Eric Copeland of Black Dice fame returns with another choppy experimental glitch-psych 7”, this time for  the Calico Corp.

‘Flushing Meats’ hits on the same tropical mash-up sound that made ‘Get Along’ such a listener friendly (for Copeland) single. Playful Tropicana and phased out pseudo ‘When Doves Cry’ beats are mashed through the Copeland brain program resulting in a twisted take on the chilled poolside party jam.

Flip it and ‘Gutterhouse’ is on more of a Black Dice circa ‘Repo’ style cut’n’smash-up with an overwhelming concoction of samples looping in and out of each other like Steve Reich tape loops, creating a woozy pop experience that can only come from the warped psyche of Mr. Copeland. Light it up and get baked in.
