There used to be a band called Harper Lee but this is not them. This is actually by Tigercats but their name is not on the front cover so I wouldn’t know. It’s fast-paced twee pop which somehow recalls very early Go-Betweens, Jonathan Richman, Jilted John and Boomtown Rats. It fair moves along at a frenetic pace. The B side, however, features a lady singer and some jangly guitar. It’s on the cheesy side of indie pop with some danceable drums and a general feel of Hefner and The Wave Pictures.
