This is dark, edgy, troubled New Yoik punk with a paranoid atmosphere throughout. It has that deep dark, dank sound as if it’s been recorded in a mouldy cellar. It has the spirit of The Clash and Stiff Little Fingers but shot through with the deranged post punk creepiness of Killing Joke. The flip contained further discordant guitars and howling vocals atop a seething punk rock scree reminiscent of both PiL and Minor Threat but it’s the A side that rules the roost.
