This Harold Faltermeyer track is pretty odd - it’s a cover of the theme from ‘Running Man’! The first original ‘Summertime is Coming’ sounds just like Interpol albeit one that’s swallowed the pompous pills. The Sinatra cover features Banks crooning dramatically - it’s marginally superior to Robbie Williams’s efforts at covering Frank. The second original is an instrumental heaped full of staccato strings - it’s kind of like Philip Glass re-interpreting the Smashing Pumpkins.

The original songs here hint that his upcoming solo album may be okay but sometimes you wonder what on earth he’s up to. Probably just a man straitjacketed by his own band having a bit of fun on the side. No harm done.
