Those nice folks at Blackmoss who brought us the unsettling Umberto 12” intended to soundtrack the last 15 minutes of your life are back with a new CD by drone lad Jannick Schou. He’s had releases on Experimedia, Under The Spire, Rural Colours, Heatdeath, Dead Pilot to name a few so he’s been around the drone block and back. This is packaged in a delightful little handmade box and there’s only 50 copies of these in the world so I can’t imagine ‘em hanging about too long.

The bits I’ve heard before by this chap have been along a more clanky industrial sounding drone tip but this is more yr dark drone without all the machinery falling down the stairs. Dark glowing hums which throb in amidst some light buzzy drones pretty much sums up a lot of what you’re getting here. Oh hang on...there is some industrial clanking...there’s a celestial vibe running through this and I think I’m getting this from the deep hummy vibrations which sound like planets kicking off with each other? Dark industrial ambient drones are available now on this very disc should you choose to purchase...
