At first it sounds slight but this is a gorgeous tune, it has the spindly intensity of The Chills’ ‘Pink Frost’, the vocals resemble Throwing Muses and it slowly builds up with gorgeous harmonies. Everything is simple, they don’t overplay, the production is rudimentary but gives the tune a live-in-the-garage feel. You could compare to Vivian Girls and Grass Widow if you liked.

On the flip we get a jaunty upbeat slice of female fronted indie that lacks the brooding intensity of the first track coming on more like Best Coast. The A side here is a real slow-burning winner and I look forward to hearing what else they come up with. Comes on white vinyl with download code, etc.
