I really enjoy this guy's individual material. I even prefer much of it to the occasionally dull Barn Owl he plays in as he seems to imbue his solo gear with more haunting textures, dark zen moods and earthy sonic exploration to create a right lovely collection of creepy, dusty psychedelic drone and quietly expressed doom. Thinking along the lines of Natural Snow Buildings in a couple o' places as images blossom in my mind of being lost in masses of deep, damp forest at dusk and hidden un-named creatures attacking you with their alien languages add to the unnerving, creeping melee. He's not afraid to suddenly start cranking out fuzzy shards of sad-eyed psychedelic guitar either which, when used sparingly like this can really enhance the powerful witch-like atmospherics and shimmering noir-ish post-rock he meters out so grandly...good baaarch of profound sounds here...
