God I love Rachel Evans, she is one hell of a producer! In a field often dominated by blokes, her work as MSOTT is saturated with so many powerful energies and a distinct sparkling disciplined focus that so many could not begin to emulate. This is her latest, a double opus of transcendental new-age vistas, peaceful glistening ambient melt-scapes and cosmic synthesizer worship.

The second side differs certainly from the gentler pastures of the first, resembling a load of hot-wired modular synthesizers and toytown gadgets singing or talking enthusiastically to each other over a piece of beautiful ethereal music. This particular journey evolves into something akin to spectral sad-pop caught in an ever-orbiting bubble, takes in some fluttering astral drone then concludes with the soothing sound of a lost angelic spirit caught in the ghost of a machine or something.

It's hard to describe such subtle, yet powerful, dream-like music without talking utter dribbling shit. I'm not gonna insult the intelligence of the second disc by elaborating any further on the lady Evans's work; she creates utterly sublime sound-scapery without resorting to anything less than the entire contents of her musical soul. Enrich your life now, this one ain't gonna be round for long and is lovingly housed in a posh gatefold.
