Also on the Upside Down label this week is this little beauty by Sea Dweller which is about as far removed from the Nastro album as possible. If you're into epic shoegaze then you're in the right place. It's one genre of music I just don't tire of it at all when it's done this well. This falls plumply into that category as it's done bloody brilliantly. Partly down to the production which encapsulates all those great shoegaze tricks used by bands like MBV, Ride, Cocteaus etc. The songs themselves are well crafted indie pop numbers and if someone played me this now and told me it was a lost classic I'd quite happily believe them (being all gullible like that). Jangly guitars, breathy vocals, feedback and a general shimmery haze are filling my ears and making me feel kinda happy! They're doing for shoegaze exactly what A Sunny Day In Glasgow did a few years ago and it's on a par quality wise. Timeless indie pop of the highest quality! You just wait til you hear some of the wonky guitars and fuzzy guitars... you'll shit your leg right off you will.  Yellow vinyl edition of 300!
