Trouble In Mind go with the four-way split 7” to celebrate this years RSD. I know it was a while back now but we're only just starting to get our stock in. We're so 21st April 2012. Anyway, all the main players on Trouble In Mind are represented and they all hit us with covers from your dad's rekkid collection. Mikal Cronin sings the verses to Joey Levine's 'I Enjoy Being A Boy' underwater and babbles on about psychedelic stuff as if transported back to a time when it was okay to talk about Strawberry Fields and that. Sounds high on street-pipes to me. Arrest this man and smash his hippy face in. Only kidding coppa'. Apache Dropout take on Harry Nilsson's 'Cuddly Toy' and play it like drunks high on mushrooms in a back street. It sounds dope. The Paperhead go heavy on the phased out vocal's on T-Rex's 'Stacy Grove' and come of sounding like The Beatles playing a bit to fast with an infectious pre-Syd gone mental era Pink Floyd vibe. Finally it's The Liminanas whose 'Tu Es A Moi' takes the slow and steady psych approach with droning organs and Troggs-esque licks backing mysterious French lady banter and sexy England man talk. It's a Troggs song so that explains that away. I'm all hot under the collar n' shit. All good tunes treated respectfully by this generation's psychedelic professionals. It's mad decent!
