I've never, ever heard this man before although I'm sure I've handled his goods in the past. This single consists of 'Caroline' which is a stripped-back piece of atmospheric bubblegum R'n'R consisting of semi-acoustic thrum, yearning vocals, implicit organ and steady drums. A great tune for the retro-heads, sounding a little like The Cars maybe? Alternatively check the catchy head-bobbing '60s folk pop of 'Marcy' which will really appeal to anyone who likes anything from Adam Green to much of the fun-times psych-revivalist guff on Fruits Der Mer. A nice seven inch with a pair of quality tunes.
