Aw crap. After last week's New Blockaders endurance test I thought I'd done my extreme noise penance for the month, but it would seem not, since now I've got this cacophonous new Justice Yeldham picture LP to review. For those blissfully unaware of his oddball carnage, Yeldham makes a relentless, savage, horrible sound by interacting with glass and microphones in ways that people don't usually interact with glass and microphones. Mostly chewing on them by the sounds of this record. This results in harsh, shrill tones which are quite distinct from the harsh, shrill tones created by other people, but if you're into unlistenable sounds, be they The New Blockaders or Merzbow or early Prurient, you'll probably be able to endure these too. Me? I'd rather have a go at my own teeth with a pair of toenail clippers. The most subjective music possible, I suppose.
