Hey guys! Have you heard about this new music the kids are listening to now? It's called ambient...or ambiance...ambients? Something like that. Anyway, you just do very little for a prolonged period of time. It's wild. Sometimes there's a dude falling asleep on top of a synthesizer, sometimes there's a dude falling asleep next to a theremin...I've never heard anything like it. One of the people making this music is Michael Cottone, who describes himself as “The Green Kingdom”. He starts out with shimmering synthesizer drones and then puts graceful little guitar twinkles over them, and possibly the odd bit of xylophone...anyway, it's very relaxing and soothing music, with silky and twinkly tones complementing each other through a series of gently swelling, comforting passages of warm, contemplative tones. If you like Ian Hawgood, bvdub, Anonymeye and other minimal electro acoustic comfort music then there's no reason why this won't make you feel nice too.
