“Dirgey Beaches”, as our Phil has cleverly nicknamed them, are back with more of their weird muddy lo-fi antics. On the A side we've got 'Dune Walker', where they're doing their usual Suicide gone suicidal business with deathly bleak tones whipping up a moody and abrasive passage, there's some squeaky trumpet towards the end just to liven things up. Then on the flip there's 'Rhythm Ace Dub', weirdly enough not a remix of big beat giants Bentley Rhythm Ace but a weird bubbling chuntery thing with Moondog-ish polyrhythmic percussion and unhinged ranty vocals. Both peculiar and unsettling tracks.
