6/10 Mike Staff review, 19 April 2012

I've not encountered this band before but if nothing else they're interesting. Their straightforward garage pop anthems are actually performed by a 12-piece band! Listening to the record I can only assume that there's a lot of doubling up on guitars and vocals because they could quite easily be a five-piece. The sound is somewhere between the White Stripes and a brassless King Khan & the Shrines - straightforward, bouncy, bright...it's actually reminding me of the Vines quite a lot. Absolutely beyond me what the other six of seven of them do though. Interpretive dance maybe? Probably fun live.
