Four movements of prime exploratory proto-techno pulse and cyber-tropical headcleansing here from Factory Floor's young femme fatale and the less demented half of legendary musical game-changers Throbbing Gristle. Well, I don't know how much less demented. This is the creepier counterpart to those recent succulent Moritz Von Oswald trio albums and is as absorbing, sinister, wondrous and cerebrally engaging as you could wish for. It doesn't differ hugely in mood and malevolent beauty from some of TG's most recent live performance - tribal, sensual and stately - with the darkness and light beautifully poised but with no Gen P to holler monotonously over the cerebral din. Jams infused with hypnotic industrial shuffle/scree, android deep-in-the-jungle moans and puttering micro-rhythms that have you swaying in a trance...très delicious! A meeting of eager young acolyte and two old(er) sages, you can feel the heady and intoxicating sexuality of it all from start to finish.
