- A Bruise Cruise Souvenir Record by Neil Hamburger

I saw Neil Hamburger live once years ago and totally didn't get his thing...I suppose everyone has their off days though because I'm totally enjoying this cheeky little one-sided 7” where he reels off a string of fairly inappropriate Michael Jackson jokes. It's mildly outrageous and if you're an easily offended Jacko fan I'd probably give this one a miss...by the end there's a couple of boos from the crowd, and some of the gags are a bit weak, but his opening spiel about the circumstances surrounding the King Of Pop's death where he clumsily shoehorns Jackson's album titles into the narrative really made me chuckle. The blank side says “DO NOT PLAY THIS SIDE! IT HAS BEEN LEFT INTENTIONALLY BLANK AS A COST-CUTTING MEASURE. FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING WILL RESULT IN SEVERE DAMAGE TO YOUR STEREO SYSTEM.” I thought that was pretty funny too. Cheeky and very silly stuff that'll wipe a smile onto your chortle chops.
