It looks like this was an early 90's indie single which was totally ingnored and disappeared amongst the millions of singles coming out each week (much like now...). Initially it's hard not to think of The Mary Chain when you listen to it as it's got that fuzzy jangly slightly abrasive guitar sound. The vocals have a twinge of Ian Mcculloch about 'em as well. It's a strong epic sounding tune from the era and anyone hankering after that early 90's Mary Chain-esque sound will fucking love this. The guitars in the chorus are so catchy there should be a public health warning on them. What a great little EP! You gotta love Captured Tracks for digging deep and reissuing all the stuff that's influencing the label. Nice work lads...
