8/10 Li'l Biz Staff review, 17 January 2012

Born Blonde hit us with a second 10” single, this time with a remix from office proggo favourites Seahawks. 'Radio Bliss' is constructed in a fashion that doesn't initially impress yet on repeat listens it becomes apparent that these lads know how to write proper radio friendly indie-rock like The Verve or Doves or one of them fellas. It's produced exquisitely and makes for generally enjoyable listening. Flip it and Seahawks take a stab at a rejig. As you'd expect they take the opportunity to space things out as much as possible. Ghostly echo's of the original backing vocal drift over the acoustic rhythm guitar before disappearing to be consumed by an astral funk reworking of the original groove complete with silky slap bass and topped of with layers of reverb drenched guitars and vocals. It's a classic remix.
