1 review | 2 people love this record: be the 3rd! Onto some Norwegian shoegaze now. They like their indie pop and shoegaze in Scandinavia and it's been chucked back at us at an alarming rate these days...fortunately some of it is very good. 8/10 Phil Staff review, 15 February 2012

Onto some Norwegian shoegaze now. They like their indie pop and shoegaze in Scandinavia and it's been chucked back at us at an alarming rate these days...fortunately some of it is very good. I remember hearing their first album and enjoying it so i thought I'd check this one out. Essentially we have an album of shoegazey indie pop which sounds heavily influenced by the likes of My Bloody Valentine and The Raveonettes. It's got that 50's sounding guitar twang of the Raveonettes mixed with some of MBV's floatier drifty feedbacky wonky moments. The vocals are shared by man and woman which gives the record a bit of variety...you don't know what's coming next! The female vocals are along the ethereal tip which suits the music (and is probably essential for this kind of music) so they work well. There's a bit of Medicine in there as well with some of the guitars sounding very much like Brad Laner's licks. It's actually pretty good...the more I plough through it the more I think it's a decent second album and worthy of a punt!
