60s infused japery from these surf obsessed Brooklynahs (should that be Brooklynites..?) they appear to be a somewhat newish act as their MySpace page has all the information you need...NOT! Details and pictures of this perky pop act are quite thin on the ground but I reckon I've got what they're about so...panic over. This Little Racer band sound like a 60's surf rock group with a slight preppie afro beat feel, like Vampire Weekend but with a rawer production sound. Some of the melodies are very Brian Wilson-esque, which is a good thing....right guys?!? The flip side has the same sort of funky, surf feel that is present and correct on the title track. Two for two baby. This is a perfectly good single from what sounds like quite a good band. Love the name. Word has it that they are massive Jim Davidson fans and were gonna call themselves “Little Racist” but as luck would have it eerrrmmmm..they didn't.  Great stuff...
