8/10 Phil Staff review, 21 December 2011
Here's a newie on Wakey's own Philiphobia label. Noice! I was expecting a load of indie rock but the 1st minute is ambient noodlings... oh hang on there's the indie indie rock! 'The Timings Are All Wrong' is some skewed Yankophile indie rock along the lines of Built To Spill. Wonky rhythms with people singing in American accents. It's not a bad EP actually with decent tunes and a sturdy sound and if you're into that whole US indie sound from the late 90's (especially bands like Built To Spill/ Modest Mouse) then you'll find something here for yourself to digest!
