Another solid 4 tracker from David Sumner kicking off with the ultra deep 'Descending' which is as hypnotic as you'd expect with a sleek minimal percussive framework and then tons happening in the creepy atmospherics. 'Picabia' has a slightly submerged kick that recalls the GAS stuff and then some gloriously intoxicating synths and electronics that will easily transport a dancefloor into some unknown zone. 'Ember Field' has a gloomy but gorgeous synth over radio static and some weird dialogue. Then 'Inter' is a real suprise, a lovely warm and melodic techno track with some dubby effects, nice cowbell and delay soaked rim-shots. Quite a varied EP and another gem from Sumner and Sandwell.
