In fact is this the Connells' “74-75” with the vocal line removed? No, it isn't. It is however a gift from GIRLS main songsmith Christopher Owens to the frontman of Go Cart Mozart Lawrence. Is it a gift that keeps on giving? Well, I reckon if your name is Lawrence you will be on this like a bum on a baloney sandwich...if your name isn't Lawrence you might end up slightly miffed and unsure. This song is quite nice, it's a solid offering that is direct and quite emotive...a bit like the Connells' “74-75”. The next time I receive a gift from someone I'm totally releasing it as a single...even if its that Swedish Super Suck 3000 I've had my (jap's) eye on for some time...OHHHHH!!!!!
