8/10 Clinton Staff review, 04 November 2011

A thumping electro rhythm blasts out - the track builds with some muted synth, you can almost see Thom doing his head waving thing, putting his eye in the wrong place in preparation and....wait a minute... he's in. He basically scats over the track - just little squeaks really but it works excellently with the rhythmic nature of the thing and I'd prefer him doing this than the usual whine. The track is powerful - like a runaway train gathering speed and then running over a mouse. On the flip there's more Modeselektor/Yorke collaboration, this time Thom has played a bit of piano and Modeselektor has re-worked it into a clanking electro powerhouse. There's the haunting images of heavy machinery, the clatter of the daily grind. Not only a must for Radiohead fans but a decent little record - the B side is exclusive to this format - you'll want it. No doubts about that.
