New Start Again is the debut full-length album of Australians Dick Diver. First released in 2011 by Melbourne’s Chapter Music, it’s now being reissued on Trouble In Mind. The sound is a sunny, rambling kind of indie pop: touches of 90’s slackerism but fronted by distinctly Australian-accented vocals. CD and LP editions.

8/10 Jack Customer review, 9th April 2016

Debut release from Australian band starts out as laid-back, rootsy indie Americana rock with a subtle, but palpable, tension that builds through sardonic, perceptive lyrics and the quietly jagged roll of sweetly twisted guitar riffs. The music soon moves to sparsely primitive guitar/jangle pop with a slightly discordant, immediate appeal that recalls the 1980s wave of New Zealand pop bands. It's one of those albums that ends before you can get a grip on it, then calls you back to hit the replay button.
