They're back! Again! If you're anything like us at Norman Towers you'll agree that Portishead, while not exactly being prolific, are some of the most consistent recording artists in Britain today. If you were a fan of their superb last album then I can't see you not enjoying this atmospheric slice of minimal techno-influenced dark pop. Beth's sultry vocals are still present and correct of course, and they take their time in building up a dark and heavy atmosphere whilst still sounding crisp and bright. Flip it and we've got a 'Doldrums Reimagine' of the track, which is pretty different, with pumping beats and abrasive synths taking the fore. This is mega limited and by the time you read this it may well already be gone. If it isn't, I'd hurry if I were you.
