Not had the pleasure of hearing this Portland OR duo before, they're much better than I thought they'd be after seeing the sleeve of their last single. 8/10 Brian Staff review, 17 November 2011

I'd have called this album 'Big Girls' and had done with it. Not had the pleasure of hearing this Portland OR duo before, they're much better than I thought they'd be after seeing the sleeve of their last single. I mean, imagine taking woof-face for a stroll in the park and seeing THAT deviant camping it up in the buff by the side of the path? I'd get my blunderbuss out I tell thee.....So, this is more of that electronic indie pop they have these days. The track I'm currently hearing comes in somewhere between nonchalant breathy indie bliss and ricocheting electro-noir. I think the lass has a really sweet, sad, slightly European voice and the music is chunkier and less brittle than say, Love Inks, another duo treading similar waters. Most importantly the tunes here are particularly strong, hook-laden and often quite anthemic without blanding your face completely off. It really helps that they have a slightly chugging, endearing DIY sound. Nothing is too glossy or over-done here and once again the singer Charlie really wins me over with her melancholic angel's tones to the point where I'm nearly down the travel agents to catch a plane to Oregon wearing my best stalker mac.
